Since 2005, the nonprofit organization Equality Ohio has served as an advocate for fair treatment and equal opportunity for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) residents in the state. Its vision is an Ohio where everyone feels at home, where LGBT Ohioans can live without fear of being treated any differently than anyone else because of who they are. Informed by truth, love, respect, humility and justice which are at the center of their movement, Equality Ohio serves as a caretaker to Ohio’s LGBT community.
